Investigate and reflect on teaching and academics practices at the university level, is a task that still requires forums for debate and review in relation to the training of future professionals and researchers. In order to engage in it, this article shows some of the results of research conducted at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires, which observes the students in the career of Sociology, who attended the course Methodology Research I, in which we try to trace their views and problems arising in the course and their performances associated with their condition and position of class. The importance of this course is evident in the relevance of learning to link the methodology and inquiry activities for their compulsory in the curriculum and, as a result, in relation to the training of future sociologists and subsequent labor practices.
