摘要

2007年是台灣之光王建民在大聯盟展現不凡身手的第三年，王建民雖然在季出受傷但是傷後歸隊後立刻快速的累積勝場數，展現出一個王牌投手應具備的穩定性，也確定了王建民在洋基隊投手群中「王牌」的地位。在這個賽季中，王建民交出19勝、防禦率3.70漂亮的成績單。在王建民以及眾多選手的努力之下，季初表現不佳的洋基隊以外卡順利晉級季後賽。然而洋基隊卻在第一輪季後賽慘遭印地孜人隊擊敗。身為王牌的王建民在這系列賽瑝中出賽兩場都表現得非常不理想，洋基隊的07年世界大賽冠軍之夢也尌在第一輪季後賽迅速的畫下休止符。大聯盟的是全世界最高等級的棒球殿堂，在大聯盟之中的選手更是世界級的一時之選。王建民在大聯盟的優異表現，帶給全體台灣人民無盡的驕傲與希望。儘管如此在2007年還是有兩個遺憾。第一，未能帶領洋基隊奪取世界大賽的冠軍；第二，未能獲取大聯盟投手最高榮譽的「賽揚獎」。
