An Application of Self-Determination Theory to Explore the Rock Climber's Motivation

摘要

本研究主要目的是利用自我決定理論瞭解不同攀岩者的休閒參與動機之差異情形。以從事攀岩活動的攀岩者為研究對象（N=112），採用「休閒動機量表」搜集資料，並利用描述性統計、獨立樣本t 檢定、單因子變異數分析等統計分析方法。研究結果發現：1.不同性別、職業在「成就的內在動機」上有顯著差異存在。2.攀岩年資在「整合調節」上有顯著的差異存在。3.攀岩者的參與動機以「體驗刺激的內在動機」為居多。

The purpose of this study was to understand the different rock climbers' leisure participation motivation by using the framework of self-determination theory. The participants of this study were people who participanted the rock climbing activity. There were 112 subjects. The instruments administrated to subjects were Leisure Motivation Scale. The research instruments were used to collect the date. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistical, t-test analysis, one-way ANOVA. The results were as follow: 1. Different genders, professions affect the intrinsic motivation to experience stimulation dramatically. 2. Rock climbing ages affect the integrated regulation dramatically. 3. The participation of the rock climbers motivation to experience stimulation of intrinsic motivation for the majority.
