Taipei, a subtropical medium modern city, is essentially featured by high population density, scarce land, and large traffic flow. In this articles, through SWOT analysis, we induce that the most priorities for Taipei to develop the green energy industries are the building's energy conservation and the electrified transportation, specifically, the following four items: electric vehicles, LED lighting, air conditioner inverter, and ESCO (Energy Service Company). Taipei is a domestic and international key pivot of politics, transportation, technology, commerce and finance. If combined with the excellent potential for renewable energy development, Taipei City is tremendously likely to become an internationalized green industrial hub, achieving the ”3E” goals of economic development, environmental protection, and energy independence.
