本研究旨在探討PETTLEP 介入對青少年運動員心理技能提昇之效益。方法:研究採準實驗設計,以45 名國中巧固球選手為受試對象;其中實驗組21 名、控制組24 名,參與8 週PETTLEP 意象模式介入對心理技能之影響。研究工具為運動心理技能量表,所得資料以描述性統計與成對樣本t 檢定進行分析。結果:青少年階段之運動選手,其心理技能中以可教導性最高,自信心較低。8 週PETTLEP 意象模式介入可有效提升實驗組青少年巧固球選手之自信心,其他心理技能各面向則無顯著差異。結論:實施PETTLEP 意象模式訓練可有效提升青少年運動員之自信心;且越熟悉指導語,其動作意象產生更具體。
Purpose: The main purpose of this study was to examine the effect of PETTLEP imagery model on psychological skill among adolescent athletes. Method: In this quasi-experimental study, 45 adolescent athletes were recruited and assigned to experimental group (N=21) and the control group (N=24). Scores of sport-related psychological skills were measured and data were analyzed by descriptive statistic and paired sample t-test. Results: among adolescent athletes in this study, the coach ability was strongest domain of psychological skill, while the self-confidence was the most weak one. An 8-week PETTLEP imagery model might effectively increase the level of confidence among adolescent athletes. Conclusions: the PETTLEP imagery model can be used in conjugation with an entire training program, which can improve adolescent athletes' self-confidence. In addition, when athletes familiar with the instruction, it seems that they could create more concrete movement.
