In this study, inserting bathocuproine (BCP) as buffer layer between C60 and cathode could improve the efficiency five times than that of the device without BCP. The absorption spectrum showed that the new energy states were formed in the BCP by Ag deposition. The Ag diffusion profile showed the relationships between efficiency and the BCP thickness.
