From Theory to Practice: Implementation of Creativity Program in Taiwan Higher Education

摘要


在高度競爭與瞬息萬變的全球環境下,創造力,被視為是個人、組織甚至國家之核心競爭力的主要來源。創造力教育可謂是現今學校教育應專注的焦點與所需面對的挑戰。是故,本研究即針對教育部「創造力教育中程發展辦公室」於2003~2007年間所推展之「創意的發想與實踐巡迴課程」進行深入研究,期望藉由對此課程計畫詳盡的分析與討論,透過真實創造力課程的案例展現,進而能使教育工作者對創造力教育之課程設計、教學實務及成效有更深入的了解,俾利創造力教育於現今學校教育之推行與發散。研究結果顯示,參與該計畫的大專院校從2003年的19所增加至2007年48所,修課人數亦從最初的950人,增加到4200人。整體而言,此課程計畫不論是在課程內容、教學形式或是學習目標的達成上,皆展現了其可行性以及其對激發學子們創造力的助益,對於創造力教育在台灣高等教育系統之擴散與深化,實具有關鍵性的意義和效果。

Creativity is recognized as the source of competitive advantage for individuals, organizations and nations in a highly competitive and rapidly changing global environment. Fostering student's creativity has become a must and challenge for today's school education. By analyzing an empirical case for implementing creativity education program in Taiwan higher education, this study aims to provide a conceptual foundation and feasible curriculum of creativity for teachers, in order to promote the implementation of creativity education in Taiwan. Our results show that both participated universities and students increased largely from 2003 to 2007, and suggest that the creativity education program is critical and incremental to facilitate the diffusion of creativity education in Taiwan.
