Relationship between the Attitude of Curiosity, Problem Solving and the Performance of Teaching Games in Elementary School students

In recent years, many studies have reported that teaching games can help students to improve their learning performance. However, the factors which may influence the relationship between teaching games and learning performance is still relatively rare. The core components of a game activity are curiosity and problem solving. They refer to the individual's desire for knowledge and information and how to deal with the dilemma. This study aims to explore elementary school students' attitudes dealing with the problem before entering junior high school We test the relationship between learning performance of the teaching game, curiosity and problem-solving. Forty-one elementary school students were invited to play the table game "nmbr-9" and fill in the problem-handling attitude questionnaire after the game. The results of the analysis show that curiosity is positively correlated with problem solving and teaching game scores. The regression analysis results further indicate that the higher the curiosity of the elementary school students, the better the problem is solved, and the better performance in the table game "nmbr-9". The research results provide an application of educational theory and practice.
