For expanding the current understanding and future directions of physical fitness instructor policy in Taiwan, the aim of this review was to discuss the development of physical fitness policy in Taiwan. We reviewed the progression and the current situation of physical fitness human resource integration and management. The results revealed that physical fitness policy in Taiwan were implemented not only on system building but also on strategic professional human resource planning, which suggested that professional instructors' education has received growing attention from government. Moreover, in order to increase the efficiency of policy promotion, we suggested that both physical fitness instructors' training and certificating systems should be further integrated. Considerations are offered for the construction as well as implementation of future physical fitness policy campaigns in Taiwan.
