輔具應用對肢體障礙者從事手工業之影響

摘要

本研究透過文獻分析，以及與肢體障礙者：X先生和Y先生，進行深度訪談，了解肢體障礙者在從事手工業的狀況與輔具應用的情形。主要研究課題包括工作內容、殘障因素所產生的影響、輔具使用的現況、輔具使用的效果、以及對輔具的未來需求與期望。
本研究的主要研究發現如下：(1)肢障者從事手工業的工作內容與一般人無異，而所需創作技巧與加工技術，都是從工作中（師徒制）習得；而除了少數針對個案身體需求的工具外，大多數的工具與一般創作者相同；從事手工業的過程中，曾經受到家人的反對，甚至是他人的輕視，帶給他們很大的心理壓力。(2)身體機能的缺陷，造成肢體障礙者在肢體活動上受到限制，甚至引發其他生理上的傷害；生理上的缺陷，往往會引發肢體障礙者在心理層面的影響(3)受到生理的限制，需要藉助特殊的工具來完成工作，這些工具透過訂製或自行改造而成。(4)有些特定需求的輔具，市面極少見，尋覓耗時。一旦覓得使用，對製作速度影響不大，但是對作品品質與精緻度，有明顯的提升。(5)肢障者生理上的弱點常會造成身體局部的過度負荷，導致職業傷害，因此對護具（例如對脊堆腰椎的保護）的需求相當殷切。

The purpose of this study was to discuss the effect of using assistive technology on craft occupational performance of physical disabilities. Via qualitative research and in-depth interviews, two physical disabilities were interviewed, trying to exploring the job content, impact caused by physical disability, using of assistive technology, advantages of using assistive technology, and needs of assistive technology. Data were analyzed and confirmed with constant comparison and triangulation. In addition to findings, suggestions of assistive technology development and future study were proposed as well.
