國小高年級「生活科技」課程單元教學活動設計

摘要


生活科技課程在教學過程中,強調手腦並用的創造原則與做中學的經驗學習理論結合。其中不僅包括知識、技能與情意表現的學習,更傳遞與體現人類文化經驗,開拓科技發展、創造與應用的潛力,是具有改善人類生活、延續先民智慧、實現創造經驗與促進文明發展的重要課程。 筆者於實際教學活動中,體會到初等教育階段充童心智發展過程中,動手操作以完成作品所帶來的成就滿足威,對於激發其學習動機,促進創造力與意念表達能力,具有莫大助益。因此設計此一教學活動,期望透過本單元教學,達成以下目標: 1、能了解紙漿原料與成品特質的相關性,知道常用的紙的單位。 2、能認識資源的可貴,培養愛物惜物、不浪費資源的習慣。 3、能從嘗試的過程,養成探索與動手做的精神與習慣。 4、能從製作過程了解資源回收與再利用對環境保護的意義與作用。 5、學會簡易的書冊裝訂技巧(線裝與釘裝)。 6、能混合運用已學會的各種紙類處理技巧,設計封面。 7、能從過程的合作到成品的完成與分享,體會團體互動學習的喜悅。 8、能從場地清潔與整理的活動中,養成良好的工作態度與負責的精神。 本單元的設計主要根據以下之理念: 〈一〉設計與創造學習的理念。 〈二〉增進學習能力的理念。 〈三〉整合式科技課程的理念。 〈四〉多元智慧學習的理念。 〈五〉循序漸進學習的理念。 〈六〉資源與環境保護的理念。 本單元教學時應遵循以下原則: (一)生活實踐應用的原則。 (二)「做中學」的原則。 (三)示範操作的原則, (四)舊經驗整合學習新經驗的原則。 (五)合作學習的原則。

In teaching course of Life Technology, it emphasizes the combination of experience-learning and creative use of ”hand-and-brain”. The course includes not only learning of knowledge, skill and expression of feeling but delivering experiences of human culture to initiate developing technology, creation potential and application. The course is important in both transferring the wisdom from our ancestors and the improvement of human life; it is also capable to make experience creation real, and make human culture better. From the practical course in teaching, we found that completion of work indeed by ones' practice brings achievement and satisfaction for children during mental developing process in the stage of primary education. It helps inducing the motivation of learning, improving creativity and training expression of inclination. We thus design the teaching activity and expect to achieve the goals described below. 1. to understand relationship between made-of materials and product properties; to know units of paper frequently used 2. to know the preciousness of resources and to make a habit of no waste on resources 3. to make of a habit of ”discovering and doing” from processes of trials 4. to understand the importance of resource recycling on environment protection 5. to learn the skill of book binding. 6. to make use of skills for various paper handling and design a cover 7. to experience the delight of interactive learning in group from process of cooperation to make the final work completion 8. to learn good attitude on working and take responsibilities from action of work-space cleaning Concept of Designs for the Unit: (1) Designative and Creative Learning (2) Improved Capability of Learning (3) Integrated Courses for Technology (4) Multi-purpose and Versatility of Learning (5) Gradual and Step-by-step Learning (6) Protection of Resources and Environment Principles that should be kept to the Unit in Teaching (1) Applications in Life (2) ”Learning from Operation” (3) Operational Demonstration (4) Experience-integrated Learning (5) Cooperative Learning
