台灣與加拿大中小學科技教育師資培育之探討

A Study on Teacher Education Comparison of Technology Education at Primary and Secondary Schools between Taiwan and Canada

摘要


世界各國地理位置和文化的不同,產生許多不同教育體制。本文希望藉由探討加拿大中小學科技教育師資培育制度,理出加國科技教育的優缺點,再與台灣目前科技教育師資培育情形作深入比較探討。本研究應用貝瑞德(G. Z. F. Bereday)的研究方法,即依描述、解釋、併列和比較等四步驟進行研究,分別從師資培育學校、課程、教育實習、教師資格取得、教師權利義務、教師進修訓練、教職就業市場、其他(如教師分級和教育補助)等8個比較點進行探討。結果共獲致2類結論,以提供我國師資培育機構、學校或教育當局日後規劃科技教育政策之參考,併為全球化科技教育腳步而預作準備。

The purpose of this study was to explore the teacher education of technology education at primary and secondary schools between Taiwan and Canada. Further, a comparison was made in order to acquire perspective as our country's reference on technology education implementation. Eight aspects was organized, including school of Teacher Education, course, education practice, teacher license, right and duty of teacher, teacher's learning, job marking of teacher and other data (reference material) etc. Bereday's research approach was applyed which based on four steps: description, interpretation, juxtaposition and comparison. Two conclusions were drawn. The results could be provided for administration or schools to make plan in advance for globalization education, and could be refered to the educational authorities of our country as well.
