With the increase in computer crime, people around the world have begun to review the importance of information ethics. The purpose of this study aims to examine/explain that information ethics education is necessary for college students, and all academic programs should focus on the behavioral ethical issues which educate future IT professionals. The study was conducted in Northern Taiwan to assess differences in university students regarding ethical issues in IT. Respondents were in age groups of 18 to 25 years old, including 162 males (40.81%) and 235 females (59.19 %). The findings indicated that males were more tolerable than females for unethical Internet behaviors, and awareness of information ethics for 20-21 years old was significantly higher than other groups.
