初探高齡者使用社區照顧關懷據點服務之經驗-以台北市關渡關懷據點為例

Probing into Seniors' Experiences of Community Care Centers-A Study on the Guandu Care Center Case

摘要


關懷據點相關研究日益增加,但對於據點服務規劃與運作方式的檢討,不應只偏重服務提供者與政策規劃者的角度。本文將焦點放在高齡者表達的感受上,透過對台北市關渡據點長者進行的深度訪談資料,討論影響高齡者評價據點服務的因素。研究者於研究進行前先於據點參與志願服務,以減少受訪者陌生感,並藉由觀察據點運作以及與據點總幹事討論,釐清受訪者所表達之意見。高齡者使用據點經驗受限於社區性質、據點組織特性、以及創造出據點服務的制度結構而有所差異,但仍可分析出以下交錯影響長者感受的因素,包括:自身定位與能力、對福利權益的認知、權衡現況克制表達的心態、以及對於提供服務者之詮釋。

There is an increasing number of researches related to care centers. However, reviews on the planning and operation methods of service in these centers should not lay particular stress on service providers and policymakers. This study focused on feelings that senior citizens expressed, and it discussed factors that influenced the evaluation of senior citizens toward the service of a care center through information collected from in-depth interviews with elders in Guandu Care Center, Taipei City. The researcher participated in volunteer service at the center before conducting the research to lower the unfamiliarity of interviewees and clarified the opinions of the interviewees through the observation of the operation of the center and discussion with its secretary-general. The experiences of the senior citizens toward the center varied due to the nature of the community, the organizational features of the center and systems and structures that created the service of the center. The preliminary induction of the study included the orientation and abilities of the elders, their cognition of welfare and rights, their restricted mental states after weighing current situations and their interpretation of service providers, which influenced their experiences of using a center.
