自我敘說研究取向在臺灣的發展趨勢及研究面向:1994-2014年文獻回顧分析

The Trend and Dimensions of Self-Narrative Research Approach in Taiwan: A Review of Literature Published from 1994 to 2014

摘要


本研究旨在針對1994-2014年出版之自我敘說研究取向論文進行概括性的統整分析,以了解該取向在臺灣各專業領域的發展趨勢及研究面向。研究結果發現:(1)臺灣自1994年出現第一篇自我敘說學位論文,二十年來共累積近1000篇論文,其中九成出現在後十年,超過五成的論文出版於2010至2014年,可見近幾年來快速成長之趨勢;(2)自我敘說取向論文多半來自與人互動相關的專業系所,如教育、心理、社工等領域,或是專業歷程較獨特之體育運動科系;(3)自我敘說研究的探討面向可從三種文本來源及四個聚焦面向來理解:「他人文本」、「自我文本」和「自我和他人文本」,以及客體的探索與建構、研究者主體性建構、共同經驗∕現象,以及主客互動的歷程轉化。從研究結果提出以下的討論及建議:(1)自我敘說研究的定義目前尚難以清楚界定;(2)自我敘說研究取向之價值在於研究者透過敘說釐清自身,同時產出人類經驗知識,進而賦權自身與他者;(3)自我敘說研究取向的方法論呈現多元化,建議研究者清楚說明方法取徑的思考並與其他方法對話;(4)自我敘說研究之品質檢驗為多元思考面向與彈性標準,而非單一之評量指標;(5)鼓勵改寫論文投稿,創造對話空間。

The purpose of this study was to understand the developmental trend and research dimensions of self-narrative research approach in various professional fields in Taiwan through inclusively analyzing relevant literatures published from 1994 to 2014. Data were collected from "National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations in Taiwan" and "PerioPath Index to Taiwan Periodical Literature System." A total of 986 research papers were reviewed and analyzed. The results were as follows: (1) Self-narrative research has rapidly grown in Taiwan. Among approximately 1,000 studies that were published between 1994 and 2014, 90% of them occurred from 2005 to 2014 and more than half of them were published from 2010 to 2015. (2) Most studies came from the professions focusing on interpersonal interactions, such as psychology, social work, and education, or the physical education major which has a unique professional development process. (3) The dimensions of the self-narrative studies can be comprehended from three text sources- "participant/objective others", "researcher", "both researcher and participant/objective others"-and four research focuses-"exploration and construction of participants/objective others' subjectivities", "construction of researcher's subjectivity", "shared experiences and phenomena", and "the transforming process of others-researcher interaction". Discussions and suggestions on the academic value and definition of self-narrative research, as well as the methodology and quality criterion are provided.
