Design has its own special knowledge and technique. The teaching strategies of design should reflect the specialty of this discipline. In using computer or Internet as a mediator for a design course, various issues must be considered accordingly. This article starts with a discussion of how Internet can be a mediator in design courses. Issues discussed include Net-instruction/learning, online learning environment and Internet mediated design course, the frameworks for online learning environment evaluation. Finally, a model for constructive Internet mediated design course was suggested.
