摘要

文化影響著設計，而設計經由器物、空間或圖像的創造再形成文化。本研究企圖瞭解舊的文化表現系統和新的當代生活產生了什麼交互作用，於是藉由此議題，來探究設計是該如何在當代的文化中承先啟後。因此本研究目的為：1.探討明式家具設計風格在室內設計中的運用情形；2.探討台灣典型透天別墅的室內設計問題；3.探討明式家具設計風格運用在台灣典型透天別墅的室內設計之實例。於是本研究以文件內容分析法和行動研究法，來達成本研究目的。研究結果顯示：1.以明式家具設計風格來處理室內裝修是值得發展的新方向；2.台灣典型透天別墅的室內空間問題需要室內設計師提早介入規畫和設計；3.室內設計其實可以以極低的裝修預算就能達到現代中國風格。

Culture affects design. The creativity of product's design, interior design and drawings also reforms a new culture. How does the interior design in Taiwan present its culture? This study tries to understand how does the old culture interact with new modern life? At the same time, I also explored how the designer represents the old culture at the modern interior design in Taiwan through this study. Thus, this study has three proposals: 1) Explore the situation of interior design by applying Ming-style furniture' design style; 2) Explore the interior design problem of typical To-tein house in Taiwan; 3) Explore the real example of Ming-style furniture design style on the interior design of typical To-tein house in Taiwan. Finally, this study brings to the conclusions as follows: l) It is worth to develop the new concept and direction of Ming-style furniture design style in the interior design industry. 2) It is necessary for interior designers to involve planning the interior design of typical Taiwanese To-Tein house in advance. 3) Actually you can spend limited budget to create China-style atmosphere in the interior design.
