屏東縣學生棒球運動現況探討

棒球堪稱是台灣的「國球」，而屏東縣過去贏得棒球王國的美譽，出身屏東的優秀棒球教練、選手多得不計其數，目前職棒好手即有不少屏東子弟兵，在全盛時期屏東縣在棒球賽事上曾獲得三級棒球三冠王頭銜，早期美和中學青棒、青少棒更是在全國各項賽事屢創佳際，而有「北華興、南美和」的美稱，本研究採文獻分析法、訪談法及田野調查法，針對屏東縣三級棒球運動發展之歷史軌跡及發展現況進行探討，希望藉由過去輝煌的成績喚醒相關推動單位及家長民眾之重視，以其改進、突破目前發展的困境，進而在未來的發展中，能再有重返榮耀的一天。研究探討歸納現況困境如下：一、輝煌歷史已經過去。二、基層球隊嚴重不足。三、練習場地數量稀少。四、經費補助少的可憐。本文在最後筆者提出了幾點建議：一、主管機關統一募款。二、針對現職教師進行教練培訓。三、多辦比賽。四、多給獎勵。五、增加簡易球場。

Pingtung County was once known as Kingdom of Baseball and there were a great number of outstanding baseball coaches and players. Many good professional baseball players are from Pingtung. In the heyday, baseball teams from Pingtung County won championships of three levels of baseball games. In earlier days, the Junior Baseball and Youth Baseball of Meihou High School have set outstanding achievements, brining the laudatory title Hua Hsing in the North and Meiho in the South. The researcher adopts literature analysis, interviews and field survey to discuss the historical background and current development of the three levels of baseball games in Pingtung. It is the hope of the researcher to improve and make breakthrough of current diffulties of development from the past glorious achievements to awake the competent authorities and emphasis of parents as well as the public. One day in the future, glory will return to us. The current difficulties are: 1. Glorious history has gone. 2. Serious insufficiency of basic level baseball teams 3. Lack of fields for practice. 4. Very little subsidy. Several suggestions are posed at the end: 1. The competent authorities shall integrate fund raising. 2. Having coach training on current teachers 3. Holding more games. 4. Giving more encouragement. 5. Adding simple baseball fields
