摘要

本文旨在探討1950年代台港現代主義發展初期，兩地互動過程中所隱藏的本質差異。主要以台灣現代主義詩刊《現代詩》與香港現代主義文學刊物《文藝新潮》作為觀察對象，從中探討文學互涉情形及其異同。在文學主張的縫隙中，台港現代主義文學逐漸走向了不同的道路。台港引介現代主義有著先天性的不同，《文藝新潮》引介西方現代主義進而希冀轉化成一種直視香港社會的利器。然而，當面臨官方文藝政策的巍峨高牆，台灣「現代派」並非「迴避政治」而走向純文學的道路，卻是配合文藝政策而自我閹割。

This paper aims to observe the beginning period of the development of modernism in Taiwan and Hong Kong with ＂The Modernist Poetry＂ and ＂New Tides of Literature and Arts＂ as the object of the research. There's a big difference between in Taiwan and in Hong Kong to introduced modernism. The editor of ＂New Tides of Literature and Arts＂ introduced the western modernism into Hong Kong and wished to face the society. However, when the ＂Modernist＂ in Taiwan faced with official literatue policy, it's not avoid the politics to go to pure literature but coordinate with official literatue policy.
