有機葉菜類生產模式之建立

The Standard Model for Organic Leaf Vegetable Production

摘要


有機農業經營的基本原理是設法讓土壤及作物本來的潛力充分發揮出來,以生產安全而又有生命力的農產品。所以在有機農業經營理念之下,不僅可以維護農業生產環境,確保農業永續經營,且可生產健康安全之農產品供消費者享用。目前有機農產品日益受到消費者重視,在2004年臺灣地區通過驗證之有機農田面積約1,246公頃,其中有機蔬菜栽培面積約為231.8公頃,僅次於有機水稻743.7公頃,顯然有機蔬菜是較具消費潛力的有機農產品種類之一。本文擬加以探討臺灣地區栽種有機葉菜類所常面臨許多實際問題與困難,其中包括有機農場(園)準備、生產輪作制度、栽培品種、病蟲害防治、雜草控制、土壤肥力管理、採收後處理、包裝行銷等多方面基本原則,以供日後研究與應用之參考。

Organic agriculture is the holistic production management system, which promotes and enhances the productivities of land soil and crops, in order to produce safety foods. Therefore, organic agriculture is an integrated farming system that involved environmental protection aspects and sustainable management as well as human health. Organic foods produced from the organic farms are widely welcomed by the consumers around the world today. Presently a total of 1246 hectares of certified organic farms are in operation in Taiwan to produce organic foods. Rice crop had the largest area of organic farm (743.7 ha) followed by vegetable crops (231.8 ha). This paper is to look into the present situation and standard rules for organic leaf vegetable production include integrated cultural practices, selection of right varieties, integrated pest management, weed management, soil fertility management. The rules concerning post-harvesting treatment, packing and marketing of organic leaf vegetable are also included.
