Development and Application of Beneficial Microorganisms on Utilizing Agriculture Residual Resources

The purpose of this research is to develop the production technologies of composts, liquid organic fertilizers and organic substrates by utilizing beneficial microorganisms. Our researches have received a number of achievements which including 1. the screening of 15 purified strains of beneficial microorganisms such as Trichoderma spp., Bacillus spp. and Streptomyces spp., 2. the use of these strains developed a number of bio-products such as livestock manure compost, fruit-vegetable waste compost, tree leaf waste compost, liquid organic fertilizers and organic substrates. Inoculated beneficial microorganisms during maturating stage of agricultural residuals can induce a large number of beneficial microorganisms and thus promote maturated, reduce odors and improve the products quality and stability. However, many field results showed that there are significant effects of promoting crops growth and increasing crops yield on the application of those bio-products. Recently, some technologies from our researches have received 12 inventive patents (ROC). The Council of Agriculture (COA) has agreed to license 34 companies to use those technologies and exploit commercial products.
