A Preliminary Study on Library & Information Science Education in Digital Age and Industrial Talents Demand: A Case Study of National Library of Public Information

The paper states industry trends in 2012 and three trends in public libraries. Taking national library of public information as an example, the paper investigates talents demand in public libraries, including acquisitions & cataloging, multi-cultural services, information management services, e-resources services, guidance & promotion services, circulation & reference, and general affairs.
