趨動創業家東山再起之因素探討

摘要

事業失敗的創業家如何再東山再起？過去研究多探討創業家如何成功、如何避免失敗、或是多以成功創業家的人格特質為研究主題，但卻鮮少研究探討，經歷失敗打擊的創業家，如何在人生低潮期找到東山再起之目標，重返創業家行列。本研究以個案訪談方式進行資料紮根分析，探討創業家如何失敗、如何處理失敗事件、受到那些要素趨動東山再起之動機、以及如何從過程中開採機會而再度創業。本研究發覺，若是失敗創業家在處理失敗時，能夠負責任的清償債務，將有助於未來東山再起時獲得外部資源協助；自我效能趨動創業家覺知自我價值與能力的存在，且與內在動機的相互作用下，取得外部資源與培養能力，開採市場機會，東山再起。

This study mainly explores how entrepreneurs experiencing business failures could bounce back and what kind of key factors trigger them to rebound. In the traditional stream for entrepreneur research, studies mostly focus on the successful entrepreneurs, analyzing from personality or business operation performance perspectives on how they could succeed, or they often focus on how entrepreneurs avoid failures. Few studies draw their attention to the processes and progress how entrepreneurs bounce back after failures. This study adopts case study and Grounded theory approach is conducted for data analysis. Combining theory and evidence from our study, we propose an interpretative model that suggests the interaction of self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation trigger failure entrepreneur to recognize and utilize self-value and capability to alert market opportunities for exploiting it with bounce back.
