創業家職能與創業績效關係之研究：以技術型創業家為例

摘要

著眼於技術型創業家能夠運用自身所具備的知識、技巧與經驗來開創新的產品或服務，推出新的生產方式，拓展原創產品的新市場，進而發展出新型態的組織與創造新的產品或服務，據此近年來與技術型創業家有關的研究如雨後春筍般的蔓延開來。深究技術型創業家為何能擁有比其他類型創業家較為敏銳的眼光與思維，其擁有的獨特性職能是其所以能夠創業致勝的重要關鍵。本研究以國內進駐創新育成中心內部的技術型創業家為研究調查樣本，利用職能冰山模型概念，分析技術型創業家的職能內涵，包括內隱特質與外顯特質對創業績效的影響。最後研究結果發現技術型創業家內隱特質中的人格特質對創業績效並未產生顯著影響，但創業動機這項內隱特質卻對創業績效產生有顯著影響。在外顯特質部分，技術能力對創業績效的影響致為關鍵，其次則是概念化能力與人際關係能力。

Drawing attention to the theory that the technology-oriented entrepreneurs can utilize their own knowledge, skills, and experiences to create new products and services, introduce new production methods, and to expand the new market for the original products. The technology-oriented entrepreneurs, then, develop new types of organization and innovation products or improve service value. Therefore, the technology-oriented entrepreneurs related researches have been flourishing in the recent years. The key reason that technology-oriented entrepreneurs have more discerning insight and thought than others to succeed is the unique competency they owned. This research is based on the data collected from 136 technology-oriented entrepreneurs in the incubator in Taiwan, and applies the concept of competence to analyzing the competency of the technology-oriented entrepreneurs, which relates to the performance, including the internal and external competency. The results indicate that the technology-oriented entrepreneurs' personality traits have no significant effect on entrepreneurial performance, but the entrepreneurial motivations that they owned have a significant positive effect on the entrepreneurial performance. Furthermore, in the external competencies which affect the entrepreneurial performance, the most influential factor is technical skills. Conceptual and interpersonal skills, however, are the seconds. Finally, research proposes concrete conclusions and suggestions to technology-oriented entrepreneurs and those researchers who are interested in related issues.
