社會創業的風潮引發了政府部門、企業部門與第三部門的重視,但是如何理解社會創業,在學術研究及實務上仍尚未有共識。本研究試圖由新制度理論中的制度革新(institutional entrepreneurship)觀點探討社會創業的歷程,「制度革新」意指在制度中的行動者發明新的文化概念,創造「新制度」以革新既存的制度。本文採個案研究方法,呈現孟加拉「Grameen Bank」以及台灣「綠農的家」兩個個案的社會創業歷程,經由個案分析指出社會創業歷程中制度革新的精神,以及參與社會創業之行動者主體位置的正當性,最後根據研究結果進一步探討社會創業在學術研究與實務上的意涵與建議。
The fashion of "social entrepreneurship" has noticed by different social sectors. However, how to understand social entrepreneurship has not yet common consciences. The study, based on Neo-institutional theory, summits an institutional entrepreneurship approach to explain the process of social entrepreneurship. To change the exiting institution by creating new institution with new cultural meaning is what institutional entrepreneurs do. Based on the two social entrepreneurial cases, Grameen Bank and the House of eco-friendly Farmers, the study emphasizes the importance of institutional entrepreneurship in the process of social entrepreneurship. According the results, we identify that people participate in the process of social entrepreneurship are who occupy the social positions in the institutional field.
