實作型創業教育的推廣與經營-教師的體驗

Education on Entrepreneurship through Practice-oriented Courses-A Case and Its Practices

摘要


創業管理的教育已經在國內的大學教育中進行了一段時間了,但是並未見到社會中創業活動較為蓬勃發展的跡象,也沒有看到從事創業活動的學生有增加的趨勢。因此在課程中所要加入的元素,顯然並非在創業管理的理論而已,透過學生的實作,或許可以看出我們在教學上所缺乏的元素。因此作者設計了這樣的實作型創業課程,希望能夠給學生臨場的體驗。本文就是這種課程實施後,教師的體驗。經過了幾年的實驗,學生在課程中所學習到的,除了能夠將過去課堂中所學的管理各項理論付諸實施外,還可以體會自行創業可能遇上的心態,包括恐懼害怕、團隊經營、人性現實等等各面向,都不是一般教學理論可以傳授給學生的體驗。這樣的教學方式,可以使學生在學校中就可以體驗在創業過程中可能面臨的狀況,以及該有的心理準備等,這在推廣創業管理課程中應該是一個重要的方式。在整個課程過程中,學生必須面臨創新、風險、不確定性等因素,並且也會得到恐懼、壓力、以及團隊衝突等經驗,這都是實際創業者會面臨的狀況與經驗。學生的感想,展現了他們深刻的體驗。實作型的教學,需要老師的全程投入,密切觀察,並隨時解決學生的疑惑。更重要的是要讓學生能夠透過實作產生經驗,並體會過程中的心路歷程,對於未來決定是否創業會有很大的幫助,而這樣的教學方式,也是推廣創業管理的有力工具。

The entrepreneurship courses have been flourishing in Taiwan's universities in recent years. However, the intention for students to create their own business doesn't seem to be strong enough to show the influence of these courses. Teaching students to start their own companies and becoming business owners is easier saying than doing. Most of knowledge in running a business has been taught via courses they took throughout their college curricula. However, some major issues for being an entrepreneur that can hardly be taught are mental obstacles that prevent them from being entrepreneurs. There're not too many ways that we can use to teach a person some experience except putting them into such environment. This is the essence of experience-based learning method. By designing an entrepreneurship course for students to practice and experience, the author used a practice-oriented course and put students in a scenario in which they can experience the whole process in a start-up company. Innovation, risk-taking, and the ability to deal with uncertainties are necessary elements for being entrepreneurs, while the fear, the pressure, and the conflicts in teamwork are also some inevitable feelings and experiences that students must learn through the course. Students showed their appreciation after taking the course. This also shows the advantage and necessity for such practice-oriented courses in promoting entrepreneurship education.
