二次鋰離子電池正極材料介紹

Introduction of Positive Electrode Materials of Rechargeable Lithium Ion Batteries

摘要


鈕離子二次電池主要構成材料包括電解液、隔離膜、集電材、正、負極活性物質等。市場上鐘離子18650電池中,正極活性物質佔材料成本近4成,在093448電池中亦高達3成5,是所使用材料成本最高者;在電池性能上,正極活性物質主導著電池電容量大小,因此正極材料的選擇具有關鍵性的影響。在一系列之正極材料中,以過渡金颺氧化物所表現之性能為最佳,其中LixCoO_2、Li_xNiO_2、LiNi_XCo_(1-X)O_2和Li_(1+X)Mn_2O_4等氧化物的電位更是高達4.0伏特,是為較理想之正極材料。因此,本文特別針對這四種正極材料之特性、市場概況及未來發展作一概略的描述。

The major components of a lithium ion cell include electrolyte, separator, current collectors, and positive, negative electrode active materials, etc. The cost of the positive material occupies 40% and 35% of the total cost for 18650 and 093448, respectively. It is the highest cost among all materials. The capacity of the cell is mainly determined by the positive active materials. Therefore, the selection of the positive active materials will play the most crucial role. Among all the positive materials, the transition metal oxides are the best choice and have the best performance. The potential of the oxides, especially LiCoO_2, LiNiO_2, LiNi_xCo_(1-x)O_2 and Li_(1+x)Mn_2O_4, can be even higher than 4 V., and they are better choice for the positive active materials. The objective of this article will focus on the general characteristics, market status and future development of these oxide materials.
