摘要


使用離子液體於液相-液相萃取,是著眼於離子液體低蒸汽壓以及易於回收之優點,本篇文章介紹使用離子液體從水溶液中萃取生物分子,包括胺基酸、蛋白質、去氧核醣核酸、抗生素以及生物鹼,萃取這類生物分子,通常要靠調整水中之酸鹼度,透過生物分子與離子液體之極性、氫鍵作用力以及靜電作用力,而被萃取進入離子液體相。除了使用純的離子液體之外,加入冠狀醚作為修飾劑,透過主客化學錯合物之形成,可以增加對胺基酸之萃取率,另外使用親水性離子液體和水之混和物,調整鹽類濃度,可形成雙水相溶劑系統,也可以使用於親水性物質之萃取。

Advantages of using ionic liquids (ILs) in liquid-liquid extractions include their low volatility and recoverable property. This article reports extractions of amino acids, proteins, DNAs, antibiotics, and alkaloids from aqueous solutions into IL phases. Basically, extractions occur due to dipoledipole, hydrogen-bonding and electrostatic interactions between the biomolecules and the IL molecules through pH adjustment of the sample solutions. In addition to using neat ILs, ILs modified with crown ether are found to increase amino acid extraction due to host-guest complex formation. An aqueous biphasic system of water-miscible ionic liquids can form by mixing a hydrophilic IL with water under suitable salt concentration. This system can also be used in extractions of hydrophilic components.
