中國大陸餐飲市場是隨著我國經濟體制改革開放而逐漸繁榮起來的,大體上經歷了起步、快速發展、穩步發展和趨於成熟四個階段。目前,大眾化的餐飲消費市場已經成形,節假日的餐飲消費已經成為餐飲業新的增長點;餐飲業結構也呈現出多元化的格局,連鎖經營方興未艾,並顯示出強勁的發展勢頭:旅遊、餐飲、娛樂等領域逐漸成為投資熱點。今後,隨著餐飲企業品牌意識的增強,競爭將在更深的層面上展開,風味店、速食店、專營店將成三足鼎立之勢的業態格局,而菜館特色本地化是由人們飲食習慣所決定的一種必然趨勢。餐飲業雖說是一種朝陽產業,但競爭非常激烈,投資具有一定的風險。
