The Color Purple scrutinizes the pains and struggles human beings experience in their relations between different races, different sexes, etc. This article focuses on the myth of racism. It finds in the novel that "purple" connotes and denotes pathetic profanity as well as noble celebration; it is unique belonging to none of the human races on earth. This article therefore suggests that The Color Purple is a purple fable to teach "love" across races as a possible way to the exhilaration of human noble liberation from the domination of racial myth or the myth of domination.
