A Comparative Study of Sexual Attitudes between Malaysian Chinese Students Studying in Taiwan University and Local Taiwanese University Students

馬來西亞留臺華裔大學生與臺灣在地大學生性態度之比較研究

摘要


The purpose of this study was to understand the current status of sexual attitudes between Malaysian Chinese Studying in Taiwan and Local Taiwanese University Students, and to provide a factual basis for the sexual education in Malaysia. The study method used anonymous method to survey 1200 university students in four different regions of Taipei, Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung, and the effective questionnaire was collected 920 copies. The results showed that there were significant differences in the attitudes of students of different sexes, such as "date", "gender role", "diversity of sex" and "sex and society". The p values of "love", "marital attitude", "sexual harassment" and "contraceptive attitude" and "overall sexual attitude" were all greater than 0.05, indicating that students of different sexes had different attitudes towards "love", "marital attitude" There is no significant in the overall attitude variation. (2) In addition, the "sexual experience" of Malaysian Chinese students in Taiwan and local Taiwanese university students shows significant differences in sexual attitudes, such as "dating", "gender role", "contraceptive attitude", "sexual diversity", "sexual and social" and overall sexual attitude changes (*p<.05,**p<0.01). 0.05. There is no significant difference between students with "sexual experience" and those with "love", "marital attitude" and "sexual harassment". Conclusion and Suggestion: Currently, Attitudes of Malaysian university students' studying in Taiwan towards sex are lower than those of Taiwan university students. It is suggested that families, schools and society should pay more attention to the promotion of sex education, so as to achieve the development of college students' physical and mental health.

本研究目的要瞭解馬來西亞留臺灣華裔大學生與臺灣當地大學生在性態度比較現狀,為馬來西亞展開性教育提供事實依據。研究方法採用匿名方式對臺北、臺中、臺南、高雄四個不同地區1200名大學生進行問卷調查,最後回收有效問卷920分。結果顯示不同性別的學生對與性態度中「約會」、「性別角色」、「性的多樣化」及「性與社會」等構面有顯著差異出現(*p<.05、**p<0.01),在「愛情」、「婚姻態度」、「性騷擾」及「避孕態度」及整體性態度變項的p值均大於0.05,整體性態度變項無顯著差異存在。(二)另外探討馬來西亞留臺灣華裔大學生與臺灣當地大學生「有沒有性行為經驗」對性態度中之「約會」、「性別角色」、「避孕態度」、「性的多樣化」、「性與社會」等構面及整體性態度變項有顯著差異出現(*p<.05、**p<0.01),相對的,在「愛情」、「婚姻態度」、「性騷擾」的p值均大於0.05,構面無顯著差異存在。結論及建議目前馬國大學生在性態度相較臺灣大學生的認知要來得低,建議家庭、學校、社會更應該重視性教育的宣導,達至大學生身心健康發展。
