玄奘大師在印度境內遊學與善財童子參學有關地理、路線、及其意義之探討

本文旨在對玄奘大師在印度遊學，與《華嚴經》中善財童子之參學相關路線作一考察。再將此路線之地理、地質、氣候、交通、作一探討，以證明其對印度早期乃至當代都具有重要之地位。然後再根據《華嚴經》集成之時代背景，與玄奘大師遊學時之時代背景，作一比較討論。由於此一比較中，可以得到兩者遊學與參學在意義上之異同。再由以上之異同，可以看出兩者不同之影響與貢獻。故本文對兩者相關遊學、參學路線之觀察，其路線對印度之重要；兩者在意義上之影響與貢獻，均為所討論之重要論點。

The outline of this paper is: 1st. To make a study of the routes followed by Huien Tsang and Sudhadana in India. 2nd. To study the geography, geology, climate and connections of those routes in order to assess their importance and contribution to the early Indian history. 3rd. To compare the time of compilation of the Hwa-ying sutra with the time when Huien Tsang visited India. Next, we will try to determine the influence and contributions of them. In my conclusion, I have pointed out the major points of this article related to the following four aspects. i) Study of the two visitors' routes in India; ii) Determination of their importance to the early history of India; iii) Evaluation of the influence exerted by the two visitors; iv) Examination of the main contributions of them.
