摘要


隨著社會型態的改變,飲食精緻化及營養過剩導致心血管代謝疾病的的發生率節節上升。健康意識逐漸抬頭的現今,間歇性斷食(intermittent fasting)、隔日斷食(alternate-day fasting)及卡路里限制(caloric restriction)等飲食方法成為報章媒體上的熱門關鍵字。近年來也有越來越多研究顯示,限制卡路里攝取對可顯著延長動物的壽命,對人體似乎也有許多健康的正面影響,如幫助減重、改善糖尿病、減少血脂肪、減少過敏性、免疫性和心血管疾病的發生機率等,然而科學證據的等級不一。在2019年底,國際頂尖期刊新英格蘭醫學雜誌(The New England Journal of Medicine, NEJM)刊載一篇間歇性斷食的回顧文章引起了廣泛的注意,本篇文章將介紹此篇文章並同時回顧其他相關文獻,介紹間歇性斷食的相關機轉以及臨床應用。
