摘要

漢字是表義的，我相信客語詞彙中的字詞，一個音節就只有一個本字。（例如：官話說喝茶，客話說siid^8 ca^5；只能寫作「食茶」，不能別作「吃茶」或「蝕茶」。）過去探查客語本字的人，認為客話只有一套演變的規律去覓字；本文服膺梅祖麟先生的觀點，認為客話有兩套或兩套以上的音變規律。因此，就客語的文白讀、又讀、破讀等聲、韻、調之異讀來鉤沉客語本字。

Chinese words are ideographical; I believe that the word used in Hakkanese lexes has only one correct wording in each syllable. Previously, scholars who have been studying hakkanese wordings suggested that there is only one shifting rule of consonants, rhymes and tones to clarify the correct wordings, while I contended, following Mei's viewpoint, that there should be two or even more than two sound changing rules to clarify the correct wordings in this thesis. We could find out the correct Hakkanese wording through its literary/colloquial contrasts or different pronunciations (because or not because of different meanings).
