摘要

本文討論閩南語的屬人名詞後綴‘-家、-者、-員’。這些後綴都不能單獨使用，卻能附加於動詞、名詞或形容詞詞幹來形成合成名詞，並且其孳生力相當旺盛。本文針對這三個派生名詞後綴的（一）語法與語意的功能、（二）詞綴與詞幹之間的選擇限制、（三）所形成的派生名詞的語法、語意與語用功能等各方面提出詳細的分析與條理化。本文並指出，雖然有關這些後綴的意義與功能的條理化大致都可以同樣地適用於閩南語與共通語，但是閩南語裡有一些‘-者’的用法卻在不同年齡層的說話者之間呈現些微差異。

This paper investigates three agentive noun suffixes ＂ -家, -者, -員＂ in Holo, by discussing (1) their syntactic and semantic functions, (2) the selectional restrictions between stems and suffixes, and (3) the syntactic, semantic and pragmatic functions of the entire derived nouns. It is pointed out that though Holo and Mandarin share essentially the same generalizations with regard to these suffixes, there is some discrepancy between different age groups in Holo concerning the usage of ＂-者＂.
