佛教齋戒能否融入天主教？－以1668年「廣州會議」與聶仲遷的報告為例
Could Catholics adopt Buddhist vegetarianism? The Canton Conference and Adrien Grelon's report of 1688

This paper analyzes the controversy among Catholic missionaries in Guangzhou in 1668 about whether or not to allow Chinese converts to continue their vegetarian fasting. This controversy shows differences in understanding of the role of Buddhist fasting in Chinese society, as well differences in their theological and pastoral approaches.
