摘要

在電腦及網際網路迅速發展與大量使用下，越來越多的檔案是以電子形式存在，如文字處理之套裝軟體、整合型辦公室自動化系統、自動化檢索工具以及電子資料庫之應用，以減輕行政作業負擔，方便資料查詢。由於資訊技術快速的發展，電腦改變傳統檔案產生及保存的方法，對於電子文件保存與處置將是本世紀檔案管理工作重要的課題之一。

Because of the rapid development and massive use of computers programs and internet networks, more and more records are stored in electronic forms, such as word processing programs, applications of integrated office automation systems, automatic retrieval tools and electronic databases to lessen the burden of the administrative works and assist the retrieval of the information. Because of the fast upgrade of the information technology, computers will change the traditional methods of producing and storing records. One of the major subjects for records management records in this century will be how to properly and efficiently store and handle the electronic records.
