飼料添加芽孢桿菌對離乳仔豬生長表現的影響

The effect of applying Bacillus coagulans on the growth performance of weaned piglets

添加於畜禽飼料中的抗生素種類逐年縮減為國際及國內未來之趨勢,因應此趨勢,開發芽孢桿菌作為經濟動物保健用飼料添加物,取代飼料中抗生素的添加為一項可行策略。本試驗以30頭28日齡離乳仔豬為試驗動物,逢機分為3組,分別為對照組、添加凝結芽孢桿菌R6組(Bacillus coagulans R6)及芽孢桿菌S10組(B. coagulans S10)。試驗期間測定採食量、增重、飼料效率及糞便中大腸桿菌群與乳酸菌菌落。試驗結果,三組之仔豬採食量分別為0.40± 0.05、0.47 ± 0.06及0.50 ± 0.03 kg/day/piglet。顯示補充芽孢桿菌 R6與S10可提高仔豬採食量(P < 0.05)。對照組、R6與S10處理組仔豬的日增重,分別為0.22 ± 0.01、0.23 ± 0.05 與0.27 ± 0.04 kg/day/piglet,添加芽孢桿菌組的日增重均高於對照組的趨勢(P = 0.064 / R6組;P = 0.067 / S10組),在飼料效率方面則無顯著差異。另外,補充R6與S10,並未顯著提高糞便中大腸桿菌或乳酸菌數。綜合所述,飼料中添加R6或S10,均可增加離乳仔豬的採食量及日增重,但對飼料效率、糞便大腸桿菌群及乳酸菌數,則均無顯著影響。

The variety of antibiotics that can be added to livestock feed have been reduced in the following years, which is a trend for the international and domestic future. In response to this new trend, Bacillus has been developed as a feed additive for economic animal health. In this study, total of 30 heads of 28-day-old piglets was used, which was divided into control, R6 and S10 groups, each group with 5 repeats. The piglets of control group were given the normal feed. The R6 and S10 groups were added Bacillus coagulan R6 and S10 (10^8 CFU/kg), respectively. The results showed that the feed intake of the piglets in groups control, R6 and S10 was 0.40 ± 0.05, 0.47 ± 0.06 and 0.50 ± 0.03 kg/day/piglet, respectively. The feed intakes of the Bacillus added groups (R6 and S10) were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). It was shown that the addition of Bacillus coagulan R6 or S10 in the feed could increase feed intake of the piglets. On body weight gain of the piglets in the control, R6 and S10 groups were 0.22 ± 0.01, 0.23 ± 0.05 and 0.27 ± 0.04 kg/day/piglet, respectively. The daily weight gain of the Bacillus added groups (R6 and S10 groups) was higher than that of control group (P = 0.064 / R6 group; P = 0.067 / S10 group). But there was no significant effects on the feed efficiency. In addition, the addition of Bacillus (R6 and S10) in feed had no significant effects on the colonies of Coliform or Lactobacillus in the feces. We concluded that the piglets were fed with the Bacillus coagulan R6 or S10 feed, which had higher feed intake and body weight gain, but no significant effect on the feed efficiency, and also had no significant effects on the colonies of Coliform and Lactobacillus in the piglets feces.
