摘要

El propósito de la siguiente investigación es analizar el comportamiento pragmático de los estudiantes chinos en relación con estudiantes de otras nacionalidades en las clases de español para extranjeros, en la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, en adelante, PUCE. La muestra la conforman tres grupos: 1) chinos, 2) europeos y estadounidenses y 3) ecuatorianos. Se analizarán tres actos de habla: la respuesta al cumplido, la disculpa y el agradecimiento. Creemos, y esperamos demostrarlo, que los estudiantes chinos se acercan a la cortesía local, en los aspectos ya mencionados, más que otros grupos de estudiantes. Particularidad que les facilitaría el aprendizaje de las normas de cortesía, algo que vendría a compensar las dificultades con las que se encuentran en aspectos como el fonético o el morfosintáctico.

The purpose of the following investigation is to analyze the pragmatic behavior of Chinese students in relation to students of other nationalities in Spanish classes for foreigners, at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, hereinafter PUCE. The sample is made up of three groups: 1) Chinese, 2) European and American, and 3) Ecuadorian. Three speech acts will be analyzed: response to the compliment, apology and thankfulness. We believe, and hope to demonstrate, that Chinese students approach local courtesy, in the aforementioned respects, more than other student groups. Particularity that would facilitate the learning of the rules of courtesy, something that would compensate for the difficulties, with which they are found in aspects such as phonetics or morphosyntax.
