含矽的噁唑基團且具有高三重態能階之小分子合成、性質探討及其在藍色磷光有機發光二極體上的應用

Synthesis and Characterization of Oxadiazole-Containing Silane with High Triplet Energy, and Application in Blue Phosphorescent Organic Light Emitting Diodes

摘要


本論文主要合成一系列的噁唑衍生物,並應用在藍色磷光有機電激發光二極體中的主發光體材料。藉由在噁唑分子的周圍引入了矽苯基團來增加分子量,以提高化合物的熱性質及空間上的立體障礙,並利用矽原子造成苯環間的共軛長度縮短,使分子能夠獲得較大之能隙及高三重態能量; 此外,利用光化學及電化學等方法來探討噁唑衍生物的物理性質,並將化合物4、7、10、15作為主發光體材料,摻雜市售常見藍色磷光的雙(4,6-二氟苯基吡啶-N,C2 )吡啶甲醯合銥(FIrpic),製做成有機電激發光二極體,其中以化合物15製做成的元件效果為最佳,其在10 mA/cm2之驅動電壓為6.9 V ,最大亮度5124 cd/m2,發光效率可達39.9 cd/A,發光功率效率31.4 lm/W,外部量子效率為13.08 % 。

We synthesized a series of oxadiazole derivatives as the host materials for blue phosphorescent organic light emitting diodes. We introduced the arylsilane which has more rigid characteristic to increase the molecular weight and steric effect improving the thermal stability of oxadiazole derivatives. Additionally, the silicon atom would disrupt the conjugation length which made the oxadiazole derivatives get large band gap and high triplet energy. We also investigated the thermal, photophysical and electrochemical properties to realize the characteristic of these compounds. In the end, we fabricated the phosphorescent organic light emitting diode using the compound 4, 7, 10, 15 as the host materials doped with the blue-light triplet guest emitter bis(4,6-difluorophenylpyridinato-N,C2)picolinatoiridium (FIrpic). The compound 15 showed the best performance in device exhibiting the turn on voltage at 10 mA/cm2 was 6.9 V, max. luminance of 5124 cd/m2, current efficiency of 39.9 cd/A, power efficiency of 31.4 lm/W and the external quantum efficiency of 13.08 %.
