Pedestrian movement is a critical element that not only consists of urban transportation system but affect the behavior of commerce. In recent years, the studies of pedestrian movement are always dominated by the description analyzes of aggregate level. The method which ignores the discrete choice analysis such as interaction of pedestrian movement might lost the detail information that how the pedestrian relate to each other and its surrounding. The model structure is based on Complex system to allow the interaction analysis between pedestrian movement and surrounding environment. The model classifies environment factors into acceleration force, attraction effects and repulsive effects that discuss respectively its relationship with pedestrian movement. This research apply NetLogo as simulation platform to establish the Agent-based Models (ABMS). An application of Ximen Ding Pedestrian Mall is used to illustrate the functioning of the model and its validation.
