應用數學規劃法作內隔板蒸餾塔之設計

Divided-Wall Colum Design by Mathematical Programming Approach

摘要


內隔板蒸餾塔屬於熱整合式蒸餾塔的一種,結構上比傳統蒸餾塔於中央多了一牆隔板,卻能應用於三成份進料系統的分離,且無論在設備成本或能源使用上皆較傳統三成份系統低且有效率。本研究首先提出一個考量所有內隔板蒸餾塔型態之超結構,接著以此超結構為基礎,建立一套完整且通用之數學模式,並將此數學模式整合成一混合整數非線性規劃問題,在不同的目標函數,最小化蒸氣量與最小化年總成本的情況下,求出最適化內隔板蒸餾塔之架構與各項操作條件。 本論文以三成份系統分離為例,在不同相對揮發度與不同進料組成的條件下,探討兩種目標函數之最適化架構與操作條件,並利用知名商業軟體Aspen Plus與本研究所到之結果進行比擬,驗證本研究之準確性。同時探討在不同相對揮發度與進料組成的情況下,在操作上是否利用非最適化形態將較具優勢。

The divided-wall distillation column (DWC) is one of the energy integrated distillation columns that has an more additional wall located in the middle of the column as compared with the traditional one. This feature makes DWC applicable to ternary mixture separation. In contrast to traditional sequence of ternary mixture separation, DWC is more efficiency in energy use and entails less capital cost. This work, a superstructure that incorporates all possible schemes of DWC is first built, based on the superstructure, a general mathematical model in the form of a Mixed-Integer Nonlinear Programming is formulated. It is desired to determine the optimum type and operating conditions of a DWC. The objective functions include the minimization of utility and minimization of total annual cost. This work takes the separation of ternary mixtures as an example, determining the optimum configuration of DWC under different relative volatilities and feed compositions. To make sure the accuracy of optimization, the result is compared with that from using commercial software Aspen Plus. Furthermore, discussions are made on whether it is advantageous to use non-optimum structures.
