部落集體認同的重新形塑:從拉勞蘭傳統青年會所振興歷程詮釋

摘要


拉勞蘭部落為台東縣太麻里鄉香蘭村的排灣族部落,其服飾、語言、祭典、食物等文化自日治中期以來受阿美族影響極深,幾乎失去排灣族群文化的特色。1990年代有拉勞蘭青年受到原住民運動影響,回到部落積極進行排灣族群文化的認同與組織重建。其中,部落青年男子所組成的青年組織在部落重新建構認同的過程中,除了為年輕人建立一套規範的制度和系統,亦促成了部落內其他組織制度的形成。同時,祭典和儀式等不斷強化的集體歷史記憶,讓族人對自己部落逐漸產生自信、主體性、歸屬感與凝聚力。藉由族群的認同與部落組織的再造,拉勞蘭部落重新拼湊出新的部落圖像。 在拉勞蘭部落重新族群認同與組織再造的過程中,我們可以看見,拉勞蘭部落展現了部落自己的高度主體性和自主性,乃是一種將原運精神回歸到部落中的實踐;而文化形式的恢復與組織制度的建立在拉勞蘭部落的重構認同過程中,扮演相輔相成的角色。文化振興活動的目的除了在恢復服飾、祭儀等文化形式之外,其更深層也更重要的意義在於部落的組織、制度以及認同感、凝聚感的建立。因此,文化的振興運動不僅僅有助於部落的在地認同以及文化的存續,亦可以促進部落的凝聚、組織的發展以及主體性的建立;同時,我們在拉勞蘭部落尋找排灣文化認同的過程中亦可以看見,族群認同是不斷地在對自我群體認知與部落菁英的詮釋過程中,所產生的持續變動的結果。 拉勞蘭文化復振的發展歷程,提供我們在面對以「文化」做為原鄉部落發展的核心範疇時,能夠在部落自主和去殖民的實踐上有更深刻的思考。同時,也顯露原住民族部落不斷變遷的族群認同與泛族群意識對於原住民部落主體性發展的影響。

Lalauran , is a Paiwan tribe located at Sianglan Village, Taimali Town, Taitung County. It has been deeply influenced by the Amis on its clothing, language, ceremonies, culture and food etc., and has nearly lost Paiwan characteristics since the middle of Japanese Colonial periods. In 1990s, there were some Lalauran youths activated by indigenous movement to return their home tribe to seek for revitalizing Paiwan identity and reconstructing social organizations. The Lalauran Youth Union was then rebuilt up for norm institutions of the youth. It promoted the emergence of other initiatives in the tribe for the re-establishment of the Union. Meanwhile, the continuous strengthening collective historical memory by ceremonies created confidence, independency, integrity and cohesion in the locals. Based on the identity of Paiwan and reconstruction of tribe organizations, the Lalaran finally can rebuild a new image of their tribe. In the processes of identity reshaping and the organizations reconstruction at Lalauran, we observed that the Lalauran have shown it’s highly independency, which would be one kind of practice for the spirit of indigenous movement at tribe. The activities of cultural revitalization aimed to recover traditional clothes and ceremonies. More importantly, it stimulated reshaping social organization, institutions and identity at tribe. Thus, cultural revitalization was not only beneficial to local identity and the inheritance of local culture, but also played a key role on cohesion, development of organization, and independency of the tribe. Conclusively, it may reveal that identity was the results between continuous self-cognition and the interpretation of the elites from the processes of seeking the Paiwan culture for the Lalauran. It provided the materials for us to have deep thinking on practice of independency and de-colonization by the process of cultural revitalization in Lalauran. Also, it showed that the dynamic identity and pan-ethnic ideology deeply influenced the development of independency.
