由於近年來資訊技術以及電子文件的不斷成長,數位保存的議題也越加重要。轉置是目前最常使用的數位保存方法之一。微軟公司推出了Office Open XML文件格式標準,由於其包含XML的特性適合作為電子文件的交換、長期保存與使用,或許在未來會成為使用上的趨勢,而面臨轉置文件的情況,所以本研究的重點在於了解圖書館未來進行辦公室文件之轉置成本為何。 本研究擬定之圖書館辦公室文件轉置成本之計算公式為: 成本=時間費用+訓練費用+系統費用。 根據本研究轉置成本分析之結果,可得之圖書館每轉置一份文件之成本大約在0.5至0.95元,其確切情況會隨著轉置文件所需的時間長短以及單位人員的平均薪資而有所增減。在每個人的時間費用與訓練費用方面,則與其單位人員的平均薪資以及總共所需的時數多寡有密切關係。 轉置文件所需的時間,是影響轉置成本的重要因素;每筆文件進行轉置所需的時間越多,相對的其轉置成本也越高。
As electronic records are growing in recent years, the issue of digital preservation has become increasingly important. Migration is one of the most commonly used methods for digital preservation. Microsoft launched Office Open XML standard in 2006. Since this standard document format possesses the characteristics of XML, it is suitable for electronic records exchange and long-term preservation and usage. Thus, Office Open XML standard might become the trend for document processing which makes document migration an important issue. The purpose of this study is to understand the cost of migration for library’s office documents. In this study, the formula for the cost of migration for library’s office documents was set as the following: Cost = time cost + training cost + system cost According to the data analysis, the study showes that the cost of migration for per library’s office document is between 0.5~0.95 NT dollars. The actual cost would depend on the time for document migration and the average salary of staffs. Moreover, individual time cost and training cost have a lot to do with the average salary of the staff and the total time they need. The time for document migration is a key factor that impacts the migration cost: The more time needed for individual document migration, the higher the migration cost.
