文化知識與日常生活:美容節目之場域形構分析

摘要


社會中的流行時尚風潮隨著媒體的蓬勃發展不斷地帶給人們新的衝擊,人們不但已有了追求美麗的基本認知,也開始主動的尋求媒介中的流行資訊,以讓自己更加自信美麗。各種傳播媒體因應人們的需求提供了各類流行資訊的選擇,本研究擬以近期新興的節目類型-「美容節目」為研究對象,以期透過美容節目的分析了解到流行文化場域中的結構關係、節目的中介性角色以及對於社會大眾的生活風格形塑意義。   基於研究目的,本研究提出以下三點研究問題: 一、探討<女人我最大>於社會所扮演的文化中介角色及相關問題。 二、探討<女人我最大>的場域關係。 三、探討美容性節目如何將流行文化知識轉化為生活風格之習癖。   本研究以美容節目之首<女人我最大>為例,探討當中的場域關係、文化中介者的角色扮演,以及如何形塑大眾的生活風格。本研究採用深入訪談與資料分析的研究方法,以其深入了解節目的場域關係等相關研究問題。   研究結果發現,事實上,節目中的專家達人所中介的是「美的觀念」,從根本的觀念養成開始灌輸觀眾愛美的信念,透過美妝教學的模式為生活注入美的元素,養成觀眾的習癖,而場域中的專家達人得以在節目中以較高地位之姿傳遞流行資訊的權力來源為其豐厚的文化資本,這樣的文化資本累積讓他們在流行文化的場域中擁有了界定流行文化知識的權力,不只傳遞了瞬息萬變的流行趨勢,也傳授了一套文化實踐的良方,讓抽象的美麗在生活中有了落實的可能。節目透過模式化的陳述模式不但喚起也滿足了觀眾的流行需求,觀眾與達人的文化資本差異更讓場域中的權力結構更加顯著。在美容節目的分析中,我們看見了其流行文化的中介性功能,也看見了文化資本在場域中所挾帶著的高度支配權力。因此,在追求美麗已成為常民生活風格的現象中,不僅反映了當代社會的趨勢走向,也提供了我們一個反思的面向,思考著追求流行的自主性與資本主義之間所存在的矛盾關係。

The fashion wave goes along with prosperous media and excites people in society. People not only have the basic cognition of pursuing beauty, but also seek fashion information from media actively to make them be more confident and beautiful. Various media follows people’s needs and offer various kinds options of fashion information. In order to know the structure of fashion cultural field, the cultural intermediary role of program and the significance of forming people’s lifestyle , this study analyze emerging program type – beauty program as a example.   The research questions of this study are: 1. The cultural intermediary role of “WomanQueen” and related questions. 2. The concern of field of “Woman”. 3. How does beauty program change the fashion cultural knowledge into lifestyle as habitus.   This study analyzes premier beauty program “WomanQueen” as a example and wants to make sense of the concern of field , the cultural intermediary role and the ways of forming people’s lifestyle .To find out the concern of field and related questions of program , the research method of this study includes : in-depth interviews and data analysis .   The result of study shows the program transmits the concept of beauty through the expert as an intermediary. They help people form a habit with basic idea and instill the notion of like to look good into people. Audiences form their habits through watching the make-up teaching model and infuse the element of beauty into their life. The expert’s abundant cultural capital is the power cause to impart fashion information with higher status in the program. The accumulation of cultural capital makes them have the power to define fashion cultural knowledge in the filed. They communicate not only the fashion trend that varies minute to minute but also an effective prescription of practicing fashion cultural. The prescription renders abstract beauty for practicable possibility in our life .This program not only arouses but also satisfies audience’s fashion needs by way of modeling conversation. A great diversity of cultural capital between audiences and experts makes the power structure in the field more notable. We descry the intermediary function with fashion culture of beauty program by the analysis of it. Furthermore, we also detect cultural capital carries greatly power of domination in the field. Therefore the phenomenon of pursuing beautiful looking becomes folk’s lifestyle shows the trend of the present society and also offers us the direction of alternative perspective. We can reflect the contradictory relationship between the autonomy of pursing fashion and capitalism.
