LTE手機多天線設計與量測

Design and Measurment of Multi-Antenna in LTE Cellphone

摘要


本論文主要研究長期演進技術LTE(Long Term Evolution)多天線系統,應用於LTE智慧手機上,本文主要分為三個部分;首先,LTE天線應用於手機上必須評估多天線擺放可行性,才有助於實現放置手機內,第二;設計並實現可操作在LTE Band 40 2300 MHz-2400 MHz天線,並加以改善隔離度以及量測天線各種特性,第三;實際量測LTE天線測試傳輸速率,並探討MIMO LTE多天線系統應用於手機上結論分析。 本文以市面上4.3英吋常見智慧手機當作一個參考大小,在有限空間裡放入8支TD-LTE Band 40頻段天線,在手機大小空間裡擺放多支LTE天線,會使得天線與天線之間距離相當靠近,造成減少多路徑(multi-Path)效應、基頻信號處理困難、傳輸速率變低等…本文主要探討多天線設計應用,並加以改善天線之間隔離度(Isolation),避免天線在資料傳輸造成互相干擾(Interference),以提高實體層傳輸率,實現LTE多天線系統應用於手機上。

This research aims to investigate the application of the LTE (Long Term Evolution) of multi-antenna system on LTE Smartphones. The thesis is divided into three parts. a.) The evaluation of the practicability on the placement of the LTE antenna on Smartphones. b.) Design and implement the LTE antenna for Band 40 frequency 2300 MHz to 2400 MHz while improving the antenna isolation and measuring the LTE antenna performance. c.) Measure the LTE antenna throughput and analyze the application of the MIMO LTE antenna on Smartphones. With a 4.3 inch Smartphone as the referent size, placing 8 pieces of TD-LTE Band 40 antenna closely usually causes multi-path effect and low throughput issue. Thus, the main focus of the study is to improve the antenna isolation and reduce interference. The results of the thesis can be used for the Multi-antenna design on Smartphones.
