國民中學生教組長之角色知覺與工作滿意度研究

A Study on the Role Perception and Job Satisfaction of Chief of Discipline Section in Junior High Schools

摘要


本研究旨在探討直轄市所屬國民中學生教組長之角色知覺與工作滿意度,並分析兩者之關係。經以五個直轄市所屬公立國民中學生教組長為對象,並以自編之「國民中學生教組長之角色知覺及工作滿意度調查問卷」,實施普查式問卷調查。根據問卷調查所得資料,以描述性統計、t 考驗、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關及多元迴歸等統計方法加以分析,並歸納本研究之主要發現如下: 一、直轄市國民中學生教組長具有多元的角色知覺,且屬中上程度,其中對「生活教育管理者」角色的認同最高,而對「溝通協調者」角色的認同程度相對較低。 二、直轄市國民中學生教組長的角色知覺不因性別、年齡、婚姻狀況、子女狀況、任教領域及教師服務年資之不同而有顯著差異;唯生教組長之教育程度、接任意願及兼任生教組長年資不同,其角色知覺有部分差異。 三、在不同直轄市及不同學校規模服務之國民中學生教組長的角色知覺未達顯著差異。 四、直轄市國民中學生教組長之工作滿意度在中下程度,其中以「人際關係」的滿意度最佳,而對「薪資福利」的滿意度相對較低。 五、直轄市國民中學生教組長雖在性別、年齡、婚姻狀況、子女狀況、任教領域、教師服務年資及兼任生教組長年資不同,唯其工作滿意度之差異未達顯著水準;而不同教育程度及接任意願,則其工作滿意度有部分差異。 六、在不同直轄市及不同學校規模服務之國民中學生教組長的工作滿意度有部分差異。 七、直轄市國民中學生教組長之角色知覺與工作滿意度具有低度相關。 八、直轄市國民中學生教組長之角色知覺對工作滿意度具有部分預測力。 依據上述研究發現,本研究提出若干建議,以供教育主管機關、學校及生教組長參考。

The purposes of this study were to understand the status-quo and to analyze the relationship between the role perception and job satisfaction of Chief of Discipline Section of junior high schools in special municipalities in Taiwan by conducting a questionnaire survey.A self-constructed questionnaire entitled as “Questionnaire of Role Perception and Work Satisfaction of Chief of Discipline Section of Junior High Schools” was administered to all Chief of Discipline Section of junior high schools in 5 special municipalities. Data collected from the survey were analyzed by using statistical methods such as descriptive statics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation as well as stepwise multiple regression analysis, and leading to the following findings: 1. Chief of Discipline Section of junior high schools in special municipalities had a multi-role perception which was at the intermediate-high level over all. The role as a “Discipline Manager” had the highest identification while the role as an “Negotiator” had relatively lower identification. 2. There was no significant difference in role perception of Chief of Discipline Section in junior high schools by gender, age, marital status, offspring status, teaching area, and years of service, while there was a partial significant difference by different levels of education, volition to serve, and years of holding the concurrent position as Chief of Principle Section. 3. There was no significant difference in role perception of Chief of Discipline Section in junior high schools by different municipalities, and school size. 4. Job satisfaction of Chief of Discipline Section of junior high schools in special municipalities was at intermediate- low level. The satisfaction with “Interpersonal Relationship” was at the top rank, and the satisfaction with “Wages and Welfare” was relatively at the lower rank. 5. There was no significant difference in job satisfaction of Chief of Discipline Section in junior high schools by gender, age, marital status, offspring status, teaching area, years of service, and years of holding the concurrent position as Chief of Principle Section, while there was a partial significant difference by different levels of education, and volition to serve. 6. There was a partial significant difference in job satisfaction of Chief of Discipline Section in junior high schools by different municipalities, and school size. 7. There was a positive but low correlation between role perception and job satisfaction of Chief of Discipline Section of junior high schools in special municipalities. 8. There was a low-level predictive power of role perception to job satisfaction of Chief of Discipline Section of junior high schools in special municipalities. Based on the above findings, this study proposed some suggestions for the authority of educational administration, the school, Chief of Discipline Section of junior high school, as well as future studies.
