Since President Trump took office, he has shown a strong leadership style, while Chinese General Secretary Xi Jinping has actively expanded international diplomacy. After the end of the 19th National Congress and the completion of domestic personnel arrangements, China's ambitions can be trimmed. In March 2008, the United States increased its tariffs on imported goods from China on the grounds that “China steals American intellectual property rights and trade secrets”, and China also launched retaliatory measures against US trade to form a Sino-US trade war. With economic sanctions, export-oriented countries are more vulnerable to shocks. Taiwan’s economic development is highly dependent on international trade. What countermeasures will there be in the face of the conflict between the Sino-US trade war? This is the alternative that this paper wants to explore. The United States and China are both the world’s two largest economic powers, and the trade war between the two countries involves the trade of various countries, affecting the international economic trend, and affecting Taiwan’s economic and trade development of the island economy. This has led to increased operating costs and risks for Taiwanese businessmen in China, which has prompted the return of funds. Affecting the domestic economy and trade and the subsequent development of the housing market will be the place for observation and analysis in this study.
