高科技專案實務作法與績效之關聯性分析－以專案特性為干擾變項

摘要

為了快速回應市場需求及提高獲利，企業須設法縮短產品研發與上市的
時間，專案管理因為可幫助企業達成重要目標而逐漸受到實務界重視，目前企
業在執行非例行業務或新計畫時最常用的方法即為專案管理，而學術界也開
始針對會影響專案管理效能的因素產生興趣而進行研究。
本研究試圖填補在實證研究中，高科技產業之專案管理實務作法與專
案績效關聯性之文獻的缺口，研究目的為以下兩個，探討專案管理實務作法
與專案績效之間的相關性為首要目的，次要目的則為探討專案特性是否會對
實務作法與專案績效之關係產生干擾效果。本研究以產業研究為基礎，為了
貼近實務，故選擇台灣高科技產業之製造專案為樣本收集對象。
本研究以高科技業為研究樣本，採用便利抽樣，樣本分析方法為敘述性統計、信度、效度、因素與二因子變異數分析，研究結果如下：(1)相關分析結果顯示，實務作法與專案績效為高度相關。(2) 產業類別、專案複雜度、團隊合作關係、持續時間與產品類型的干擾效果，以專案績效為依變數時皆成立，即該五種專案特性的水準不同會影響實務作法與專案績效的關係強度。

In order to respond rapidly to market needs and increase profits, companies must shorten product development and reduce time-to-market for new products. Project management has received substantial attention in the industry as they help the companies in achieving important business goals. Project is the most usual way adopted to execute non-routine activities or new plans. In recent years, researchers have become increasingly interested in the factors that may have impacts on effective project management.
This study attempts to fill this void of empirical evidence by identifying the associations between project practice use and project success in the high-tech industry. The purpose of this research is two-fold. The first objective of this study was to investigate the effect of the practice use on project performance. The second objective was to examine the moderating role of project characteristics in the relationship between practice use and project performance. The analyses of practice use and relationships with project performance are based on an industry-wide survey. A data collection tool was developed to assess practice use and the performance of manufacturing projects in the Taiwanese high-tech industry.

This study selects high technology firms as research samples. It adopts
convenience sampling and uses descriptive statistics, reliability analysis,
validity analysis, factor analysis and two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The major findings are as follows: (1) the results from the correlation analysis suggest that the practice use and project performance are highly correlated. (2) industry sector, project complexity, team relationship, project duration, and product type may have a moderating effect on the relationship between practice use and manufacturing project success. The findings indicate that different project characteristics may affect the strength of correlation between practice use and project performance.
