臺北市高職特教教師在職進修現況之研究

A Study on the Current Situation of In-service Education for Special Education Teachers in Taipei Senior Vocational High Schools

摘要


本研究旨在探討臺北市高職特教教師在職進修之現況,並分析不同背景變項的高職特教教師對於進修類型的影響及特教教師對在職進修所面臨的困境和所需的協助。本研究以問卷調查法為主,並輔以訪談方式,故以「臺北市高職特教教師在職進修現況調查表」及「臺北市高職特教教師在職進修現況訪談大綱」作為研究工具進行量化及質性資料的蒐集,以2007年臺北市13所公私立高職設有綜合職能科及主要以高職部智能障礙類學生為施教對象之特殊教育學校之現職特教教師為研究對象,發出165份,回收有效問卷147份,有效回收率為89.1%。統計方法採描述性統計及卡方檢定考驗,使用SPSS 14.0版統計軟體及半結構式訪談進行資料處理分析後,獲得以下結論: 一、臺北市高職特教教師參與校內進修及校外短期進修之比例高於學位及學分進修。 二、臺北市高職特教教師參與各類型在職進修現況互異。 三、年齡和婚姻狀況對學位進修的參與及性別對校內進修的參與呈現顯著差異。 四、臺北市高職特教教師參與在職進修面臨的主要困境:少有針對特教教師辦理之進修活動、一般高職提供之支援不足、私立高職請假管制較嚴、學校行政的規劃欠缺彈性、教師在參與在職進修時所面對的壓力與負擔。 最後根據研究結論,對臺北市教育主管機關、學校、特教教師與後續研究分別提出相關建議。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the current situation of in-service education for special teachers of senior vocational high schools in Taipei city. Besides, analyze the impact of the special education teachers of vocational high schools with different backgrounds, the challenges which the special education teachers of vocational high schools are facing, and find out the solving methods. Questionnaire survey and interviewing were used in order to collect qualitative and quantitative data. Therefore, Scale of In-service Education for Special Education Teachers in Taipei Senior Vocational High Schools and interview outlines were applied as research tools. Special education teachers from 13 public and private vocational high schools with self-combined classes and offer special education to the mental-challenged students were sampled. Then, 165 questionnaires were delivered and 147 effective questionnaires returned later; percentage of effective questionnaire was 89.1. Descriptive statistical analysis and χ2 Test were used and the conclusions were as the follows: 1. Special education teachers of vocational high school in Taipei city whose participation in advanced education programs in schools or short term training programs out of schools was higher than go for further degree or certification. 2. Special education teachers of vocational high school in Taipei whose participation in various types of advanced education was different. 3. There were significant distinctions in age and marital status for pursuing the further degree. Also, there were significant distinctions in gender for advanced education program out of schools. 4. The main challenges for vocational high school special education teachers to participate advanced education programs were: (1) there were few specific programs which were held for special education teachers, (2) the support offered from schools was not enough, (3) the restriction of off-duty was intense in private vocational high schools, (4) administrative plan was lack of flexibility, (5) the suffered stress and duty of teachers in participating advanced education programs. According to conclusions, conveyed the suggestions for the education administrations, schools, and special education teachers in Taipei city. At last, provide proposal for further research.
